Due to its wide distribution, ecology and usage, it has been widely studied in various fields, including botany, chemistry, pharmacology and clinical medicine. Research shows that camel thorn has a variety of active ingredients, including flavonoids, saponins, alkaloids, and polysaccharides, which have antitumor, anti-inflammatory, antivirus, and immunomodulatory effects. Among them, flavonoids are a best-known class of bioactive ingredients, and have become a focus of research in recent years.ObjectiveThe aim of this study is to investigate the chemical constituents and total flavonoids extraction technology of camel thorn. To achieve this, the following objectives have been proposed:1. To isolate and identify the flavonoid components in camel thorn extract.2. To optimize the extraction process of total flavonoids from camel thorn.3. To evaluate the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities of total flavonoids extracted from camel thorn.MethodsIn this study, the flavonoid components in camel thorn extract will be analyzed by HPLC-MS/MS and NMR. The optimal extraction conditions for total flavonoids from camel thorn will be determined using a Box-Behnken design, and extraction efficiency will be determined by UV spectrophotometry. The antioxidant activity of the extracted flavonoids will be 精品文档---下载后可任意编辑evaluated by measuring its free radical scavenging ability, while the anti-inflammatory activity will be tested using the inhibition of LPS-induced NO production in macrophages.Expected ResultsIt is expected that this study will identify and quantify the major flavonoids components in camel thorn extract, and establish an efficient and practical method for the extraction of total flavonoids from camel thorn. The results may also provide valuable information for the development of new camel thorn-derived products for pharmaceutical and food industries.
