However, a large number of music talent students are busy with their music study and neglect their English study, which affects their future development in higher education and life-long learning. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the factors that influence their English learning motivation and propose targeted strategies to improve their English learning.Research Purpose:The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the English learning motivation of high school music talents, and to provide suggestions to improve their English learning.Research Questions:1. What are the factors that affect the English learning motivation of high school music talents?2. How do these factors influence the English learning of high school music talents?3. What are the effective strategies to improve the English learning motivation of high school music talents?Research Methods:1. Literature Review: Conduct a review of literature on the theories and research on second language learning motivation and identify the possible factors that impact music talents’ English learning motivation.2. Questionnaire Survey: Develop a questionnaire survey to collect data from high school music talents. The questionnaire will be designed to examine their English learning motivation, their attitudes towards English learning, their self-efficacy beliefs, their perceptions of the importance of English learning, and their perceived barriers.3. Interview: Conduct in-depth interviews with a selected number of high school music talents to explore the underlying factors that affect their English learning motivation.Expected Outcomes:The expected outcomes of this study are to identify the factors that impact the English learning motivation of high school music talents, and to provide recommendations to improve their English learning. The findings of this study may help teachers and parents to better understand the needs of music talents and to provide targeted support to improve their English proficiency.
