The aim of this study is to investigate whether HHcy affects vascular endothelial function in rats. Rats were divided into HHcy group and control group, and plasma homocysteine levels and vascular endothelial function indicators, such as endothelial nitric oxide (NO) production and uterine artery contraction response, were measured to investigate the effect of HHcy on rat vascular endothelial function and its possible mechanism of action. After statistical analysis, the results showed that HHcy impaired rat vascular endothelial function, reduced NO production, and increased contraction response. These results provide a reference for the prevention and treatment of HHcy-related diseases in the clinic.Keywords: Hyperhomocysteinemia; Vascular Endothelial Function; Nitric Oxide; Contraction Response
