Protein extraction: yellow mealworm will be cleaned, washed, and freeze-dried. Then, the protein will be extracted by different methods, such as alkaline extraction, acid extraction, and enzymatic hydrolysis, to obtain the highest yield and best quality of the protein.2. Protein purification: the extracted protein will be purified by using different techniques, such as gel filtration chromatography, ion-exchange chromatography, and ultrafiltration, to obtain a high-purity protein.3. Protein powder preparation: the purified protein will be dried and ground to prepare protein powder. Different drying methods, such as spray drying and freeze drying, will be evaluated to obtain the best quality of protein powder.4.
