Aesthetic value is the cornerstone and starting point for the realization of other values. In order to study the aesthetic value of children's literature works, based on the analysis of many children's literature works, this paper expounds that children's literature can express the aesthetic value by rejecting the spirit of material conservation, being enthusiastic about the affirmation of freedom of imagination, and pursuing the nature and longing for the truth, and emphasizes the importance of aesthetics in children's literature. The concrete expression of the aesthetic value of children's literature is of great significance to the three aspects of children's aesthetic emotion, imagination and aesthetic ability.
