1摘 要《台北人》和《纽约客》是白先勇最具代表性的两部系列短篇小说集，它们分别描写了身在台湾的大陆人和流徙美国的中国人坎坷漂泊的人生。“台北人”和“纽约客”都是指离家去国的异乡人，他们因为种种原因离开故土，被放逐他乡。白先勇运用包含伤感情怀的语言描写、独特的方言词句以及今昔对比的乡愁叙事特点去讲述主人公悲伤命运的结局，展现出浓郁的乡愁情结及浓厚的时代气息。作者从自身独特的人生经历出发，描写不同阶层的人物的悲欢离合，具有更深层次的时代意义。关键词：白先勇；乡愁；叙事特点2Abstract Taipei Characters and The New Yorker are Bai Xianyong's two most representative collections of short stories. They respectively describe the bumpy and drifting lives of mainland Chinese living in Taiwan and Chinese people living in the United States. Both the "Taipei characters" and the "New Yorkers" refer to strangers who leave their homeland and go abroad. They leave their homeland for various reasons and are exiled. By using sad language descriptions, unique dialect words, and nostalgic narrative features of comparing the past with the present, Bai Xianyong tells the ending of the protagonists' sad fate, showing a rich nostalgic feeling and a strong sense of the times.
