Unit 2 Wish you were hereLast month, our school arrangedan extraordinary adventurefor us in Africa. The destinationis an old templeat the mountaintopwhere a famous poet was buried. But before that, we should cross a desert by camel. We felt uncomfortablebecause it is dusty and there is hardly any shade.We brought some more water in advance in caseit ran out.After two days we arrived at the foot of the mountain ， where there were some cattle wanderingaround. We'd like to take somephotographswith them, but they were scaredaway. After climbing endless steep steps, we reached the temple. It was reflected by thesunshineand looked more brilliant. In myview,though it was a tiringtrip, it is worthwhile to explorenature and I'll remember it forever.上个月，我们学校为我们安排了一次去非洲的不同寻常的冒险活动。我们的目的地是山顶上的一座埋有一位著名诗人的旧寺庙。但在那之前，我们首先得骑着骆驼穿过一片沙漠。我们感到不舒服，因为尘土飞扬，几乎没有树荫。我们提前多带了一些水以防我们的水用完。两天后，我们到达了山脚下，在那儿有一些牛在踱来踱去。我们想和它们照几张相，但把它们吓跑了。爬了不知多少陡峭的台阶后，我们到达了寺庙。在阳光的映射下，它看起来更加辉煌壮观。在我看来，虽然这是一次累人的旅行，但探索自然是值得的，我会永远记住它。
