Because of top grade, novelty, flexibility and convenience, the elevator is favored by the majority of people. Therefore, this paper expounds the programmable logic controller PLC in the elevator control application, mainly introducing a five-floor building’s PLC control system’s the overall design of the scheme, design process and the use of PLC model, the elevator control ladder diagram, and giving the program’s flow chart .
