I warned you not to play with fire. 我告诫过你不要玩火。He warned her of/about the danger. 他提醒她有危险。The teacher warned the students against swimming in the river. 老师告诫学生不要在河里游泳。eg. Compared with last year, our coal output has increased by three times. 与去年相比，我们的煤产量增加了 3 倍。The population of our country has increased to 1.3 billion. 我们国家的人口已增长到了 13 亿。increase 的用法 用 法意 义increase by ＋倍数或百分数表示“增加了……倍，增加了百分之……”increase to ＋具体增长后的数字意为“增加到了……”【拓展】“在……方面增长”，介词用 in 。 eg.It has increased by 30 percent in price. 它的价格增长了 30% 。It is increasing in spending. 它的开支正在增加。辨析 by, with 与 in 表方式的用法 考点 用 法 图 示 by 意为“通过，以……的方式”。后面接动名词或名词。接交通工具时名词前不用冠词。 with 意为“用，拿着，与……一起”，后面可接表示工具或人物或身体部位的名词。 in 意为“用”，接表示语言或颜色的名词。 辨析 discover, create 与 invent 考点用 法例 句discover强调新发现，特别是科学上的发现。The boy has just discovered a secret drawer in his father's old desk. 男孩在他爸爸的旧课桌里发现了一个神秘抽屉。create强调从无到有的“创作”，如艺术作品，理论等。Ge You created quite a number of wonderful characters in his play. 在剧中葛优创造了很多精彩的形象。invent强调通过研究和实验而“创造，发明”出原来不存在的东西，尤指科技上的发明创造。Bell invented the telephone. 贝尔发明了电话。(1)too…to… 句型形式是肯定的，但表达否定意义，意为“太……而不能……”。 too 后面接形容词或副词的原级， to 后面接动词原形，构成动词不定式。 too…to… 句型是简单句。...
