In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many countries including the UK have introduced policies related to the study and application of overseas students. The Post Study Work (PSW) policy for overseas students will resume (恢复) in the summer of 2021, when overseas students who have received bachelor’s degrees or master’s degrees will be allowed to stay in the UK for two years. The resumption and extension of PSW will surely make the UK higher education more appealing. To balance overseas students’ studies and their safety and health, universities in the UK are adopting more flexible and diverse teaching methods. For the sake of overseas students’ learning experience, aside from online instruction, about 97 percent of the universities and colleges in the UK are planning to provide a certain form of face-to-face instruction, and 87 percent of them say they will offer some social events for their students. It is clear that such adjustments intend to encourage students, particularly overseas students, to return to campus after the pandemic has been brought under control.
