A Night The Earth Didn’t Sleep 教案 设计教师：刘亚娟 教学年级：高一 课时： 1 课时 第一部分 教学设计分析 一、教材分析： A Night The Earth Didn’t Sleep为全日制普通高中实验修订本（必修）高中英语必修一 , Unit4 Earthquakes 的内容。本单元以地震为中心话题，介绍了地震这一自然现象，使大家对地震的起因、前兆、危害及如何在地震中自救等有了全面的了解。Reading 部分 A night the earth didn’t sleep 是一篇新闻报道，详细描写了 1976 年唐山大地震前的预兆、地震造成的城市建筑和人畜损失及震后人们勇敢面对现实并及时实施抢救和重建工作的情况。从功能项目来看，它包含了本单元大部分的词汇和语法内容，为下一步的语言运用做好了准备。 二、学生分析： 由于学生都经历过了 2008 年汶川大地震，因此对地震有一定的了解并对此话题比较感兴趣，但他们不知道如何用英语来描述因而学生有学习 的渴 望 。其 次 高一学生的阅 读 习 惯 与方 法不是很 好，因此在阅 读 过程 中老 师要 培 养 学生好的阅 读 习 惯 及阅 读 的方 法与 技 能。 三 、教学目标 分析： [知识 与 能力 ] 知识 目标 ： 1、Get the students to learn and grasp the important new words and expressions: burst , ruin, injure, destroy ,shock, rescue, damage, judge ,right away, as if, at an end , in ruins, dig out, a number of 2、Get the students to learn the following useful sentence patterns： But the one million people of the city, who thought little of these events, were asleep as usual that night.
