At the beginning of this article,it outlines the prospects and significance of the development of smart home. It analysises some technical requirements for home and presents the current situation around the world and the development of domestic smart home industry. Then several short-range wireless communications technology has been compared and the advantages of Bluetooth communication technology in smart home has been discussed. Next, the design of hardware has been detail analysed, sensor devices and intelligent home has been combined.
