The synthesis method involves adding europium oxide and sodium tris(phenyl)phosphine chloride to an anhydrous ethanol solution, which results in a series of complexes with different relative molecular masses. The products are characterized and verified by elemental analysis and infrared spectroscopy. The results show that the synthesized complexes have good luminescent properties under UV excitation, with the emission peaks in the red region and high luminescence intensity.Keywords: butanedioic acid; rare earth; luminescent properties; complex
