Firstly, AB5Mg2Ni alloy powder is prepared by high-energy ball milling and characterized. Secondly, CNTs are modified on the surface of AB5Mg2Ni by chemical reduction to prepare embedded composite hydrogen storage alloy AB5CNTs, which are characterized and tested for electrochemical performance. The results show that the addition of CNTs effectively improves the hydrogen storage performance and electrochemical performance of the alloy, and its hydrogen storage capacity and discharge capacity reach 180 mAh/g and 280 mAh/g, respectively, which has great potential application value.Keywords: composite hydrogen storage alloy, AB5Mg2Ni, CNTs, preparation, performance
