Besides, BODIPY can also be used as a spin-labelled fluorescent probe to study the dynamic processes of biological systems.In this project, we aim to study the photoinduced products of BODIPY and synthesize spin-labelled fluorescent probes based on BODIPY.Objectives:1. To investigate the photoinduced products of BODIPY under different light sources and conditions.2. To synthesize spin-labelled fluorescent probes based on BODIPY.3. To characterize the physical and photophysical properties of the synthesized compounds.Methodology:1. Photoinduced product study:a. Preparation of BODIPY solutions in different solvents.b. Irradiation of BODIPY solutions with UV or visible light.c. Analysis of photoinduced products using HPLC, MS, and NMR.2. Synthesis of spin-labelled fluorescent probes:a.
