The results showed that adding Fe6+ fixative significantly increased the adsorption capacity of soil for Cu2+, and the maximum adsorption capacity was obtained when the ratio of 0.2 g Fe6+/g soil was used. On the other hand, adding Fe3+ fixative decreased the adsorption capacity of soil for Cu2+. Further study found that Fe6+ fixative could effectively change the pH value of soil, increase the content of organic matter and electrical conductivity in soil, which may be the reason for its enhanced adsorption capacity for Cu2+. The results of this experiment provide a certain theoretical and practical basis for further study of heavy metal pollution control in soil.Keywords: Fe6+; Fe3+; fixative; Cu2+; adsorption performance; soil; pH value; organic matter; electrical conductivity
