LYVE-1mRNA is the transcriptional product of LYVE-1 gene, which is mainly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells and is a specific marker of lymphatic endothelial cells in humans. This study aims to explore the expression of LYVE-1mRNA in endometrial cancer and its relationship with clinical pathological features. By retrospectively analyzing the pathological data of 25 patients with endometrial cancer, the expression levels of LYVE-1mRNA in cancer tissues and paracancer tissues were detected by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). The results showed that the expression level of LYVE-1mRNA in endometrial cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in paracancer tissues (P<0.05), and it was positively correlated with the tumor tissue grading and invasion depth. This suggests that LYVE-1mRNA may play an important role in the occurrence and development of endometrial cancer and can be used as a prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target for this disease.Keywords: LYVE-1mRNA, endometrial cancer, transcriptional product, qPCR, prognostic biomarker, therapeutic target.
