Through literature review and laboratory tests, it is found that MgAl(Fe) composite oxide has good catalytic performance and selectivity, which is suitable for the synthesis of ethylene glycol monoethyl ether. This paper mainly discusses the preparation method and optimization conditions of MgAl(Fe) composite oxide and the research on catalytic activity and product selectivity. The experimental results show that under appropriate reaction conditions, MgAl(Fe) composite oxide has high selectivity for the catalytic synthesis of ethylene glycol monoethyl ether and can achieve higher conversion and product yield.
