NOD-like receptor 1 (NOD1) is considered as an important factor involved in chronic inflammation and insulin resistance. This thesis aims to study the expression of NOD1 in adipocytes of obese diabetic patients and explore its effect on insulin resistance. This paper will introduce the protective effect of NOD1 defects on insulin resistance, the relationship between NOD1 and inflammatory factors, and the expression of NOD1 in adipocytes of obese diabetic patients. In addition, this paper will explore how NOD1 affects insulin resistance by regulating the expression of IL-6. Finally, this paper will summarize the role of NOD1 in obesity and diabetes, and provide theoretical basis for the treatment of obesity and diabetes.Keywords: NOD1, obesity, diabetes, adipocytes, insulin resistance, IL-6
