The newly built metro vehicle depots of Shangai are designed with some new features, such as a roof structure that covers the entire depot, isolated fire zones, and fire separation measures between different zones. These features are expected to improve the fire safety performance of the vehicle depots.Objectives:The objective of this research is to analyze and evaluate the fire safety performance of the metro vehicle depots developed by Shangai.
