Fermentation can effectively improve their nutritional value and utilization. In this study, potato and sweet potato residue were used as materials to explore the effect of different absorbents and fermentation liquids on the fermentation quality of silage feed. The results showed that different absorbents and fermentation liquids had significant effects on the dry matter content, pH value, ammonia nitrogen content, lactic acid content, and total acid content of silage feed. At the same time, the feeds produced by different absorbents and fermentation liquids met the requirements of livestock and poultry feed, and the effects of adding yeast, lactic acid bacteria, and casein acid fermentation liquid were the best.Keywords: potato residue, sweet potato residue, silage feed, fermentation, absorbent, fermentation liquid, nutritional value
