To investigate the potential challenges and problems faced by translators in the process of translating Chinese classical poetry.3. To identify the compensatory strategies that translators adopt to bridge the cultural gaps in the English translation of Chinese classical poetry.4. To propose effective strategies for improving the quality of English translations of Chinese classical poetry.Methodology:This research will adopt a qualitative approach to collect and analyze data.
