This paper studies the purification strategy and application of recombinant human serum albumin expressed in mammary gland bioreactor. Firstly, the basic characteristics and production process of human serum albumin are introduced. Then, different purification methods and their advantages and disadvantages are discussed, including ion exchange, gel filtration, affinity chromatography, and other technologies. Their differences in purification efficiency, selectivity, cost, and so on are compared. Then, the main advantages and technical routes of expressing human serum albumin in mammary gland bioreactor are elaborated, and the key links and common problems of the technology are detailed, as well as their solutions.
