This paper aims to explore the conversation meaning of English commercial advertising, and analyze it from the perspective of the cooperative principle. Firstly, an introduction to the cooperative principle and the related background of commercial advertising will be given. Secondly, the information exchange in commercial advertising will be analyzed from the perspective of the cooperative principle.
