Through literature review and field investigations, this paper explores the impact of long-term fertilization on soil carbon sequestration and yield promotion in agricultural fields. The results show that long-term fertilization significantly increases soil organic matter content and soil fertility, promoting the growth and development of crops and achieving an increase in yields. At the same time, long-term fertilization also effectively increases soil microbial biomass and diversity, improving the stability and resistance of the soil ecosystem, and further promoting the formation and stability of soil carbon sinks. Therefore, long-term fertilization has significant promoting effects on soil carbon sequestration and yield promotion in agricultural fields, providing strong support for agricultural production and environmental protection.Keywords: long-term fertilization; agricultural soil; carbon sequestration; yield promotion.
