However, the ultra-long nature of structures also means more complex loading conditions and challenges. Among them, structural cracks are a major problem in ultra-long structures, which not only affect the strength and stiffness of the structure but also affect its service life and safety. Therefore, controlling structural cracks in ultra-long structures has become an urgent problem to be solved.This paper will explore the methods and mechanisms of pre-stress control of cracks in ultra-long structures through literature review and experimental research. Firstly, this paper will introduce the causes and classification of cracks in ultra-long structures. Secondly, this paper will introduce the basic principles and application of pre-stress technology.
