Marx and Engels believed that marriage and family were the products of private ownership, and today's rural family construction faces multiple challenges. Therefore, we need to conduct in-depth research on Marx and Engels' family and marriage theories, and make reasonable adjustments and improvements based on the actual situation of rural family construction in China.This paper first introduces Marx and Engels' views on marriage and family, and elaborates on its theoretical basis and internal relations. Secondly, it discusses the problems and challenges faced by today's rural family construction in China, including the influence of traditional concepts, the loss of rural labor force, and family economic pressure.
