How to accurately detect and characterize the spatial characteristics of faults and karst caves has always been a difficult problem in the fields of geology and engineering geology. This paper will study the application of high-density electrical method and georadar in the detection of faults and karst caves. Firstly, the principles and characteristics of high-density electrical method and georadar will be briefly introduced and compared with traditional methods of detecting faults and karst caves. Secondly, through field experiments, the high-density electrical method and georadar will be used to detect faults and karst caves, and their detection results will be compared. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of the high-density electrical method and georadar in detecting faults and karst caves will be analyzed, and their application prospects in practical exploration and engineering construction will be discussed.Keywords: high-density electrical method, georadar, faults, karst caves, detection
