In addition, they may advertise spiritually harmful publications or entertainment. Such advertisements are bound to generate severe consequences if we keep turning a blind eye to them. First, they encourage people to waste money and resources. Moreover, they set a bad example to youngsters, arousing in them the desire for luxuries instead of teaching them the good habit of leading a simple life-style. In view of the seriousness of the situation, effective measures should be taken before things get worse. For one thing, proper laws and regulations should be worked out and enforced to ban these ads. For another, the pubic should be educated to identify these ads and refuse to buy the products recommended by them. With these measures taken, it will be a matter of time before these ads to become things of the past.
