The book stood on the side of the children, using symbolism, contrast, allegory, myth, etc., to reveal the darkness and evilness of the human nature. Firstly, the paper will start with the definition of the humanity evil—to introduce the cruel and dark experience Golding had suffered and thought about humanity evil of the author to consolidate the theme. In addition, this paper will adopt the method of contrast to demonstrate the personality changes of the main characters, factional differentiation, and unscramble the foul image and the meaning of the Lord to prove the humanity evil which is uniquitous.
