PIONEERINSURANCECOMPANYLIMITEDCaringforyou,forever……..HeadOffice:Symphony（5thFloor）,Plot#SE(F)9,Road#142，SouthAvenue,Gulshan-1,Dhaka-1212.PERSONALACCIDENTPOLICYWhereastheInsurednamedintheScheduleofthisPolicybyProposalanddeclarationwhichshallbethebasisofthiscontractandisdeemedtobeincorporatedhereinhasappliedtoPIONEERINSURANCECO.,LTD.（hereinaftercalled“theCompany”）fortheInsurancehereinaftercontainedandhaspaidoragreedtopaytheFirstpremiumstatedintheScheduleasconsiderationforsuchinsurance.NowthisPolicywithnesseththatifatanytimeduringanyperiodofinsuranceanyoftheinsuredPersonsnamedintheScheduleshallsustainanybodilyinjurycausedbyaccidental,violent,externalandvisiblemeanswhichinjuryshallsolelyandindependentlyofanyothercauseresultindeathordisablementasdefinedintheScheduleofBenefitsthensubjecttothetermsProvisions,exceptionsandconditionscontainedhereinorendorsedhereon,theCompanywillpaytotheInsuredorintheeventofhisdeathtohislegalpersonalrepresentativescompensationasprovidedintheScheduleofBenefits.Providedalwaysthat1.Death,lossorpermanentdisablementtakesplacewithintwelvecalendarmonthsoftheoccurrenceoftheinjury.(a)CompensationshallnotbepayableundermorethanoneoftheitemsoftheScheduleofCompensationinrespectofconsequencesofthesameaccident(exceptforanycompensationpayablehereunderinrespectoftemporarypartialdisablementprecedingorfollowingtemporarytotaldisablement).(b)Noweeklycompensationshallbecomepayableuntilthetotalamounthereofhasbeenascertainedandagreed.If,nevertheless,paymentbemadeforweeklycompensation,theamountsopaidshallbedeductedfromanylumpsumbecomingclaimableinrespectofthesameaccidentofillness.2.ThetotalsumpayableunderthispolicyinrespectofanyoneormoreclaimsshallnotexceedinallinanyoneperiodofinsurancethelargestsuminsuredunderanyoneoftheitemscontainedintheScheduleofCompensationoraddedtothispolicybyendorsement.DefinitionsInthispolicy-1.“BODILYINJURY”meansbodilyinjurywhich(a)issustainedbytheAssuredduringtheperiodofthispolicy.(b)iscausedbyanaccident,and(c)solelyandindependentlyofanyothercauseexceptillnessdirectlyresultingfrom,ormedicalorsurgicaltreatmentrenderednecessarybysuchinjury,occasionsthedeathordisablementoftheAssuredwithintwelvecalendarmonthsfromthedateoftheaccidentbywhichsuchinjuryiscaused.2.“ACCIDENT”includesexposureresultingfromamishaptoanaircrafttoorvesselinwhichAssuredistravelling.3.“ILLNESS”meansillnessoftheAssuredwhichdeclaresitselfduringtheperiodofthePolicyandoccasionsthetotaldisablementoftheAssuredwithintwelvecalendarmonthsafterdeclaringitself.4.“TOTALDISABLEMENT”meansdisablements,whichentirelypreventstheAssuredfromattendingtohisbusinessoroccupation(ofanyandeverykind)ofifhehasnobusinessoroccupationfromattendingtohisusualduties.5.“PARTIALDISABLEMENT”meansdisablementswhichpreventstheAssuredfromattendingtoasubstantialpartofhisusualduties,businessoroccupationifhehasnobusinessoroccupationfromattendingtohisusualduties.6.“PERMANENT”meanslastingtwelvecalendarmonthsandattheexpiryofthatperiodbeingbeyondhopeofimprovement.7.“LOSSOFLIMB”meanslossofphysicalseparationofahandatorabovethewristorofafootatorabovetheankle.8.“AIRTRAVEL”meansbeinginoronorboardingaconventionalaircraftforthepurposeofflyingthereinoralightingtherefromfollowingaflight.EXCEPTIONSThecompanyshallnotbeliableunderthisPolicyfordeathordisablementdirectlyorindirectlycausedbyarisingorresultingfromor...
