1妇女节英文介绍InternationalWomen'sDayiscelebratedinmanycountriesaroundtheworld.Itisadaywhenwomenarerecognizedfortheirachievementswithoutregardtodivisions,whethernational,ethnic,linguistic,cultural,economicorpolitical.Itisanoccasionforlookingbackonpaststrugglesandaccomplishments,andmoreimportantly,forlookingaheadtotheuntappedpotentialandopportunitiesthatawaitfuturegenerationsofwomen.In1975,duringInternationalWomen'sYear,theUnitedNationsbegancelebratingInternationalWomen'sDayon8March.Twoyearslater,inDecember1977,theGeneralAssemblyadoptedaresolutionproclaimingaUnitedNationsDayforWomen'sRightsandInternationalPeacetobeobservedonanydayoftheyearbyMemberStates,inaccordancewiththeirhistoricalandnationaltraditions.Inadoptingitsresolution,theGeneralAssemblyrecognizedtheroleofwomeninpeaceeffortsa2nddevelopmentandurgedanendtodiscriminationandanincreaseofsupportforwomen'sfullandequalparticipation.特别推荐|||||HistoryInternationalWomen'sDayfirstemergedfromtheactivitiesoflabourmovementsattheturnofthetwentiethcenturyinNorthAmericaandacrossEurope.1909:ThefirstNationalWoman'sDaywasobservedintheUnitedStateson28February.TheSocialistPartyofAmericadesignatedthisdayinhonourofthe1908garmentworkers'strikeinNewYork,wherewomenprotestedagainstworkingconditions.31910:TheSocialistInternational,meetinginCopenhagen,establishedaWomen'sDay,internationalincharacter,tohonourthemovementforwomen'srightsandtobuildsupportforachievinguniversalsuffrageforwomen.Theproposalwasgreetedwithunanimousapprovalbytheconferenceofover100womenfrom17countries,whichincludedthefirstthreewomenelectedtotheFinnishParliament.Nofixeddatewasselectedfortheobservance.特别推荐|||||1911:AsaresultoftheCopenhageninitiative,InternationalWomen'sDaywasmarkedforthefirsttime(19March)inAustria,Denmark,GermanyandSwitzerland,wheremorethanonemillionwomenandmenattendedrallies.Inadditiontotherighttovoteandtoholdpublicoffice,theydemandedwomen'srightstowork,tovocationaltrainingandtoanendtodiscriminationonthejob.1913-1914:4InternationalWomen'sDa...
