Unit 5 Pets!一、学习目标: (一)基础目标: 1. 认识单词表中的词汇和短语。 2. 学会区分与使用句子的各种类型。3. 能熟练的掌握宾语从句和状语从句。4. 掌握阅读策略----扫读。 （二）发展目标：1．结合课文内容拓展一些课外知识。 2．能用本单元学到的知识描写一个你爱好的事物并给出理由。 3．能用生活中的动作与本单元的语言内容整合，拓展学生的阅读量。 （三）能力目标： 1. 情感态度：爱护动物，关爱生存环境。 2. 学习策略：在开展小组活动，完成任务的时候要善于学习别的同学好的方法。 3. 文化目标: 宠物带给人类的帮助。二、教学资源: Student’s book page 64-79.（三）教学时间：4 课时 (每课时 35~40 分钟)Pre-task Preparation Contents: ①Warming –up Listen and act： Look at the board. Listen to the tape. ② Revision the words and phrases. (2) Methods:① The students say after the teacher and perform the actions. ② Teacher shows the word cards and asks students to read.Task procedureContents： Task 1. Lead in Many families have pets at their home, They regard them as their family members and friends. Pets bring people much pleasure. There are also many kinds of dogs who can do many other jobs, do you want to know? Task 2 Let’s read the text< Man’s four-legged friend >, then answer the questions on your book. Task 3 Then check the answers in class.（2）Methods ① Read the text by themselves. The students can discuss the text in pairs. ② The students finish the tasks and show the answers.③Encourage the students to invite their classmates to finish the tasks.(3) Scanning.(扫读) (4) Grammar.Post-task activities（1）Contents：Do a survey. What pet does your classmate have?
