They have such virtues as broad spectrum bactericidal effect，low mammalian toxicity and sludge stripping effect etc. Consequently, they meet the demands of the modern germicidal agents. The preparation procedures and the characteristics and applications of the Tego bactericides were introduced here. It can be concluded that the Tego bactericides can be applied in many fields. Compared with the other germicidal agents，they have low mammalian toxicity. Moreover, they thus do not cause eye and skin irritation.
