[译文]我是你们的老师，你们是我的学生。 （1）这个句子是由 and 引导的两个并列句，第一个分句的主语是I，因此be 动词用的是am，第二个分句的主语是you，因此 be 动词用的是are。I’m 是I am的缩写形式，you’re 是you are 的缩写形式。还记得 be 动词的使用口诀吗？ e.g.I’m Chinese. I’m from Wuhan. 我是中国人，我来自武汉。 How old are you？ 你多大了？ She is American and her name is Mary. 她是美国人，她的名字叫玛丽。 Lingling is twelve years old. 玲玲十二岁。 Tony and Betty are our friends. 托尼和贝蒂是我们的朋友。 （2）把陈述句转换为否定式时，直接在 be 动词后加 not。 e.g.She is in Class One, Grade Seven. 她在七年级一班。 → She isn’t in Class One, Grade Seven. 她不在七年级一班。 They are happy. 他们很开心。 → They are not happy. 他们不开心。 （3）把陈述句变为一般疑问句时，直接把 be 动词提前，有时候代词要根据具体情况而改变。 e.g.He is from America. 他来自美国。 → Is he from America？ 他来自美国吗？ 2．Where are you from？ [译文]你来自哪里？ 问对方来自哪里要用这个句型。be from 在句中意思是“从……来”或“来自……”。常用来询问某人来自何地或某人的籍贯。 注意：be from ＝ come from e.g.I am from India. ＝ I come from India. 我来自印度。 He is from U.S.A. ＝ He comes from U.S.A. 他来自美国。 Where are you from？ ＝ Where do you come from？ 你来自哪里？ Where is he from？＝ Where does he come from？ 他来自哪里？ 3．How old are you？ [译文]你多大了？ 问对方的年龄时使用这个句型。how old 意为“几岁，多大”。用于询问对方年龄。 e.g.How old is he？ 他几岁了？ 注意：西方人一般不喜欢别人问自己的年龄。询问年长的人和女士的年龄是不礼貌的行为。如果在某种必问的场合可委婉地说： How old are you，please？ 请告诉我你的年龄好吗？ 回答How old are you？这个问题时，要用be 动词后加数字，再加years old，有时候years old 可以省略。 e.g.I’m t...
