The following is the transcript of the interview: 中央电视台：这些年来，中澳经贸关系发展很快，但两国存在分歧。您认为中澳关系应如何定位？是经贸伙伴关系还是战略合作关系？ CCTV: The business relations between China and Australia have grown rapidly in recent years. But the countries also have disagreement on some issues. How would you characterize China-Australia relationship? A trade and economic partnership or a strategic relationship of cooperation? 陈大使：中澳建交38年来，两国关系保持了平稳、持续、健康的发展，进入新世纪后，两国关系发展势头强劲，交往更加密切，合作成果丰硕。我抵澳履新刚满一个月，已经与澳政府多位部长交谈，走访了新州、昆州，出席了南航首航布里斯班仪式，与中资企业和留学生代表进行了交流，我深深地、直观地感受到中澳关系的深度和广度。也正因此，我更愿强调，要从战略高度把握中澳关系。 Ambassador: China-Australia relations have maintained stable, sound and sustained growth since the establishment of diplomatic ties 38 years ago.
