This article first introduces the hazards of sulfur compounds in fuel and the development history of desulfurization technology, and then elaborates the application and advantages of catalysts in the desulfurization field. Next, the superiority of the composite support in catalyst preparation is introduced, and the preparation and characterization methods of ZnO-based composite support are described in detail, and the experimental research results are analyzed. Finally, this article will use experimental methods to study the catalytic effect and mechanism of Ni-based catalyst on thiophene hydrogenation and desulfurization, and conduct data analysis and discussion.【Keywords】ZnO-based composite support, Ni-based catalyst, thiophene hydrogenation and desulfurization, mechanism research.
