Unlike traditional stairs, ramps stretch walking on the ground with gentle slopes, which is more in line with the laws of human mechanics. Therefore, as a transportation mode with humanized design, ramps have played an important role in architecture.The article first briefly describes the definition and historical development of ramps, and then discusses the advantages and disadvantages of ramps. Next, the article analyzes the influence of ramps on architectural form and space, including improving the continuity, flexibility and fluidity of space.
