They can improve plant nutrient uptake, growth and development, and stress resistance. In this study, lilies were used as the research object to investigate the impact of AMF on their growth, development, and stress resistance. The results showed that AMF significantly increased the root length, root surface area, root volume, and number of root hairs in lilies. Moreover, AMF inoculation could promote the growth of lily leaves, increase their leaf area, and chlorophyll content. In the salt tolerance experiment, the height and diameter of lily plants in the AMF inoculation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, indicating that AMF inoculation could enhance lily’s salt tolerance. Therefore, AMF has a significant impact on the growth, development, and stress resistance of lilies and can be used as a means of plant growth regulation.Keywords: arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi; lily; growth and development; stress resistance.
