Traditional methods for mineral resource prediction mainly rely on direct exploration data, such as drilling and geological sections. However, direct exploration data are costly, time-consuming, and easily affected by geological structures. Therefore, the use of indirect information to assist mineral resource prediction has become increasingly important. This paper focuses on the study of indirect information and its application in mineral resource prediction, and discusses how to use indirect information to improve the accuracy and efficiency of mineral resource prediction.Keywords: indirect information; mineral resource prediction; geophysical exploration; geochemical exploration; machine learning.
