By analyzing the growth rule and relevant quantitative traits of Ma's pearl oysters, we can better understand their life cycle and reproductive ability, and provide scientific basis for their cultivation and protection.This paper first introduces the biological characteristics and important significance of Ma's pearl oysters, and then summarizes their growth models and quantitative traits, including body weight, shell length, shell width, etc., based on artificial breeding practices and literature. Then, the statistical analysis methods of growth models and quantitative traits, such as GLM model and BLUP method, are discussed in detail.
