The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of classroom teacher-student negotiation on students' complexity of instant oral output in high school English class.Literature Review:Negotiation is an interactive process between the teacher and students in the classroom that helps to foster a positive learning environment. Negotiation takes place when the teacher interacts with the student in a collaborative way to solve problems, clarify meaning, or negotiate meanings. It is a two-way process in which both the teacher and the students are responsible for the learning that takes place (Dornyei & Thurrell, 1994).Studies have shown that interactive teaching methods and negotiation in the classroom lead to better language outcomes for students (Lee & VanPatten, 2024).
