High refractive index is an important indicator of this kind of coating, which can improve the optical performance and appearance of the coating. Therefore, it is of great significance to develop and prepare polyurethane acrylic coatings with high refractive index. This paper firstly introduces the characteristics and applications of polyurethane acrylic coatings, and then explores the factors that affect the refractive index of coatings. Finally, several methods for preparing polyurethane acrylic coatings with high refractive index are introduced, including adding high refractive index fillers, changing coating formulations and adopting special processing technology. It is expected that the research results will provide reference and guidance for developing polyurethane acrylic coatings with high comprehensive performance.Keywords: polyurethane acrylic coatings; high refractive index; filler; formulation; processing technology.
