Firstly, the concept, classification, and related characteristics of high-temperature chloride molten salt materials are introduced, including their high-temperature stability, thermal conductivity, electrochemical properties, and so on. Then, based on the existing literature and experimental data, the advantages and disadvantages of various preparation processes are analyzed, and the existing problems and research directions are pointed out.
