This paper aims to explore the surgical treatment method and effect of IAO in the elderly, and put forward related problems and research.This study will use literature analysis and case study methods to collect and analyze relevant literature and patient data to explore the feasibility, safety and effectiveness of surgical treatment of IAO in the elderly. This study will be divided into surgical treatment group and conservative treatment group for as many elderly patients with iliac artery occlusion as possible, to compare the efficacy and risk of the two treatment schemes, and more deeply explore the advantages and limitations of surgical treatment.It is expected that the research results can provide more effective, safer and feasible treatment plans for elderly patients with iliac artery occlusion, and provide clinical doctors with reference and guidance for surgical treatment of arterial occlusion in the elderly. It also helps to clarify the pathogenesis and pathophysiological characteristics of iliac artery occlusion in the elderly, providing a basis and ideas for future relevant research.Keywords: elderly, iliac artery occlusion, surgical treatment, case study, literature analysis.
