AbstractAs the international trade is increasing, the commercial contract is more and more important to the development of world’s economy, because it ensures the success of the business. Faithfulness is very important to translation, especially to the commercial contract, because both of the Chinese and English contracts should have the same legal effect. This paper points out that the commercial contract translation requires not only the correctness of logic, but also the stylistic faithfulness that is as impotant as the correctness of logic.
