This technology utilizes solar energy to drive the decomposition of water to produce hydrogen. Among them, the catalyst plays a crucial role. In this paper, we studied the preparation and hydrogen production performance of MnS photocatalyst and investigated its influencing factors. The MnS photocatalyst was synthesized by sol-gel method. By adjusting the concentration, temperature, and time of the precursor, MnS catalysts with good photocatalytic performance were successfully prepared. The experimental results showed that the catalyst had high hydrogen production activity and stability, and exhibited excellent photocatalytic performance under visible light irradiation. Finally, we discussed the influencing factors of the hydrogen production performance of the catalyst by analyzing its composition, microstructure, and optical properties, and provided theoretical support for further improvement.【Keywords】MnS; photocatalyst; preparation; hydrogen production performance; influencing factors
