The coating is doped with Al2O3, TiO2, and β-Sialon nanomaterials, forming an Al2O3/TiO2/β-Sialon ternary composite coating. Al2O3/TiO2/β-Sialon nanoparticles were prepared using the sol-gel method, and the composite coating was made by thermal spraying technology. The surface morphology, structural properties, and optical properties of the composite coating were analyzed.The results show that the composite coating prepared by this method has high hardness and wear resistance. Its wear and friction coefficients are reduced by more than 10% and 20%, respectively, compared to a single coating.
