Firstly, the background and development history of molecular sieves and their advantages in catalysis were introduced. Then, the synthesis method of Y/β bimodal zeolite molecular sieve and its advantages and disadvantages were introduced. The synthesized samples were characterized by XRD, SEM and other methods. Finally, the catalytic performance of the synthesized molecular sieve in oxidation and esterification reactions was preliminarily explored. With the further research, the methods to improve the catalytic performance of the molecular sieve will be further explored.Keywords: Y/β bimodal zeolite molecular sieve; synthesis; characterization; catalytic performance.
