NAND Flash, as a low-cost and high-density embedded storage, has been widely used in various embedded systems. However, due to its unique characteristics, NAND Flash requires special file systems to manage storage. Therefore, this paper proposes a design and implementation of a block-based embedded NAND Flash file system.Firstly, this paper analyzes the characteristics of NAND Flash memory, including its read and write speed, erase operation, bad block handling and life cycle issues.
